When we were planning our Acadia National Park trip, we found out that one of the farm-stays Lizzie had been reading about was actually kinda-sorta on our way home! And that is how we ended up at Liberty Hill Farm in Rochester, Vermont.
In 2014 Lizzie and I road-tripped from Indiana to Acadia National Park. The day before we arrived we spent the night at Portsmouth, New Hampshire. We decided we’d take the “fun route” (US Route 1) instead of the “boring route” (I-95). Best. Decision. Ever.
I love road-trips as you’re probably starting to see. I grew up driving with my family between Houston, TX and Indiana /Illinois to visit grandparents and cousins. I actually much prefer the 18 hour drive to the 2 hour flight. I know, I’m an odd duck. But what can I say, I’m a control nut that likes to take her time and see the view.
Yesterday was great fun! I partook in the annual Girlfriend Ride which benefits the Love Chapel Food Pantry. Not only does it help a great organization, but you get to do it with a group of awesome women.
Who knew?! Well obviously people who live in Alabama, but not this Indiana girl.
