I am Anne (pronounced Annie). It is nice to meet you!
Here’s a little bit about me: Spending time in Mother Nature keeps me sane. Hiking and road-trips are my two favorite things in life. I also enjoy kayaking and camping. I love exploring everything from National Parks to little hidden wonders. So far, I have been to 20 National Parks. I always have a trip (or four) in the works. I enjoy planning a trip almost as much as I love going on the trip, but I am also learning the importance of going with the flow. Some of my favorite adventures were spur of the moment ideas.
I travel both solo and with others including: my parents; my best friends Jess and Lizzie; and other members of Women Who Hike. If you have any questions about traveling or hiking solo please feel free to ask!
My adventure-mobile of choice is Addie (short for Adventure), my 2016 Toyota 4Runner. She turned 2 years old on December 11th and we’ve already gone on over 40,000 miles worth of adventures. When I’m not driving around the country to see the view, I’m exploring the view from my own backyard, Indiana.
My travel goals for 2018 include:
- Great Smoky Mountains National Park – CHECK!
- Shawnee National Forest – CHECK!
- Visit every State Park in Indiana
- Hocking Hills State Park, Ohio
I hope you enjoy my stories! I update my Bucket List regularly, so if you have any recommendations please let me know!
