The Nature Conservancy’s Guide to Indiana Preserves

The Nature Conservancy’s Guide to Indiana Preserves is a great place to start if you are wanting somewhere a little less visited to explore. The Nature Preserves of Indiana are not as well-known or visited as the state parks, but are just as beautiful. This guide includes great pictures of the preserves as well as history and environmental information about them. I use this guide to initially learn about a preserve and then continue my research online to get more up-to-date and detailed information. (this guide was published in 2006) Jess and I first learned about Beanblossom Bottoms Nature Preserve from this book.
